Al-Bari (الْبَارِئُ) means The Maker. It is name 12 in the well-known list of the 99 Names of Allah. Al-Bāriʾ brings creation into existence, each thing distinct and free of imbalance. Scholars describe Al-Khāliq as planning and measuring, and Al-Bāriʾ as bringing it about.
The root and its meaning
Al-Bari comes from the Arabic root ب ر أ (b-r-ʾ), which carries the sense of bringing into being, and being free of a fault.
Where it is in the Quran
As a name it comes in 59:24. In 2:54 Musa tells his people to repent to their Bāriʾ, their Maker.
Surah Al-Hashr 59:24
Huwal Laahul Khaaliqul Baari 'ul Musawwir; lahul Asmaaa'ul Husnaa; yusabbihu lahoo maa fis samaawaati wal ardi wa Huwal 'Azeezul Hakeem
He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor, the Fashioner; to Him belong the best names. Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Surah Al-Baqara 2:54
Wa iz qaala Moosaa liqawmihee yaa qawmi innakum zalamtum anfusakum bittikhaa zikumul 'ijla fatoobooo ilaa Baari'ikum faqtulooo anfusakum zaalikum khairul lakum 'inda Baari'ikum fataaba 'alaikum; innahoo Huwat Tawwaabur Raheem
And [recall] when Moses said to his people, "O my people, indeed you have wronged yourselves by your taking of the calf [for worship]. So repent to your Creator and kill yourselves. That is best for [all of] you in the sight of your Creator." Then He accepted your repentance; indeed, He is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.
Quran 2:54. Arabic: Uthmani text (Tanzil). English: Sahih International.
Calling on Allah by this Name
Allah says: "And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them" (7:180). Begin your dua with يَا بَارِئُ (Yā Bāriʾ) and ask for what fits its meaning. For example: "Yā Bāriʾ, as You brought me into being, keep me sound in body and faith."
