Allāhumma bārik lahū
O Allah, bless him.
Dua for blessing
Allahumma barik means "O Allah, bless". Say it when you see something you admire in someone, so your admiration becomes a dua for them instead of a harm. The reply is wa fik barakallah, or simply ameen.
Allāhumma bārik lahū
O Allah, bless him.
Dua for blessing
Allāhumma bārik lahā
O Allah, bless her.
Dua for blessing
Allāhumma bārik lahum
O Allah, bless them.
Dua for blessing
Bārakallāhu fīk
May Allah bless you.
Fik to a man, fiki to a woman, fikum to a group
Wa fīka bārakallāh
And may Allah bless you too.

Guide
Allahumma barik (اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ) is a short dua: "O Allah, bless". You add who it is for: lahu (him), laha (her), lahum (them) or fihi (in it). Muslims say it on seeing a new baby, a new home, someone's success or anything beautiful, so that admiring it becomes a prayer for it.
The Prophet ﷺ said: "The evil eye is real" (Sahih Muslim 2188). Amir ibn Rabi'ah once admired Sahl ibn Hunayf as he bathed, and Sahl fell ill. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Why would one of you kill his brother? If you see something you like, why did you not pray for blessing on it?" (Muwatta Malik and Sunan Ibn Majah, from Abu Umamah ibn Sahl). So when something impresses you, say a dua for blessing. Many people say mashallah together with it: "mashallah, allahumma barik", or "mashallah tabarakallah".
The Prophet ﷺ prayed for his servant Anas: "O Allah, increase his wealth and children, and bless him in what You have given him" (Sahih al-Bukhari, from Anas). Guests can say "Allahumma barik lahum fima razaqtahum, waghfir lahum warhamhum": "O Allah, bless them in what You have provided them, forgive them and have mercy on them" (Sahih Muslim 2042).
When someone makes a blessing dua for you, return it:
Allahumma barik, allahuma barik, allah humma barik and allahumma baarik are the same phrase. Barakallahu feek, barakallah fik and barak Allah feekum are the second form, said straight to the person.
