Questions

Where to ask a scholar online.

48 fatwa and Q&A services, grouped by madhhab, Hanafi first. We opened and checked each one on 31 October 2026.

How to use them

  • Stay with one school. Pick one or two services of your own madhhab and the same method, and stay with them, so you do not pick the easiest answer from each.
  • An online answer is general guidance. For divorce, inheritance shares, business and anything where the details change the answer, ask a mufti directly and give the full facts.
  • Check who answers. A reliable answer names the mufti or the institution and cites its sources. Avoid unattributed social media posts and forwards.

Hanafi

Most of these are run by muftis trained in the Deobandi tradition, so their answers are consistent with each other and with the Hanafi texts.
