Short answer
Yes. In the Hanafi school the best place for a woman's itikaf is the prayer area of her own home, the masjid al-bayt. Itikaf in a public masjid is valid for her but disliked. A married woman needs her husband's permission. The other three schools say itikaf is only valid in a masjid.
A woman performs itikaf in the place she has set aside for prayer in her home; if she has none, she sets one aside. Her itikaf in the masjid is valid but makruh. Her period ends the itikaf, and a broken sunnah itikaf is made up for that day.

Explanation
Itikaf is staying in a place of prayer with the intention of devotion, most famously in the last ten days of Ramadan. The Prophet ﷺ did it every year, and his wives continued after him. The Hanafi school reasons that since a woman's prayer at home is better for her than in the masjid, her itikaf at home is better too, and it treats the prayer place in her house as her masjid for this purpose.
There is also the story of the tents. When the Prophet ﷺ intended itikaf, Aishah, Hafsah and Zaynab each pitched a tent in the masjid. On seeing them he asked whether they intended righteousness by this, and left that itikaf that year. The Hanafi jurists see in this a sign that the masjid is not the preferred place for women's itikaf.
How to do it at home:
- Choose a corner or room for prayer and keep to it. That place is your masjid for the itikaf.
- Make the intention, for the sunnah itikaf of the last ten, before sunset on the 20th of Ramadan.
- Leave it only for needs: the toilet, wudu, ghusl, and food if no one can bring it.
- Spend the time in salah, Quran, dhikr and dua, and keep away from phones and chatter.
- If your period starts, the itikaf ends. In the Hanafi school you make up that day later, with a fast.
A married woman needs her husband's permission, since itikaf takes her time from him. A shorter nafl itikaf, even for part of a day, is also possible. See itikaf in Ramadan, itikaf for less than 10 days and leaving the masjid during itikaf.
The evidence
Quran, Surah Al-Baqara 2:187
It has been made permissible for you the night preceding fasting to go to your wives [for sexual relations]. They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them. Allah knows that you used to deceive yourselves, so He accepted your repentance and forgave you. So now, have relations with them and seek that which Allah has decreed for you. And eat and drink until the white thread of dawn becomes distinct to you from the black thread [of night]. Then complete the fast until the sunset. And do not have relations with them as long as you are staying for worship in the mosques. These are the limits [set by] Allah, so do not approach them. Thus does Allah make clear His ordinances to the people that they may become righteous.
The Quran mentions itikaf in the context of the mosques.
Sahih al-Bukhari 2033
Sahih...
"Do you think they intended righteousness by this?"
