Short answer
No. Wearing good, even expensive, clothes is allowed if the money is halal, you can afford them, and you are not doing it to show off. What is forbidden is pride, wasteful spending and clothes worn for fame. Gold and silk for men stay haram whatever the price.
Wearing fine clothing for adornment, to show Allah's blessing or to look presentable is mubah, and can be rewarded with a good intention. Wearing it out of pride or to look down on others is forbidden, and spending beyond one's means is israf (waste), which is haram.
The four schools agree on this.
Explanation
When the Prophet ﷺ said that no one with an atom of pride in his heart would enter Paradise, a man asked about liking good clothes and good shoes. He answered that Allah is beautiful and loves beauty, and that pride is rejecting the truth and looking down on people. He also said that Allah loves to see the effect of His blessing on His servant. So nice clothes are not pride in themselves.
The warning is about the heart and the purse. The Prophet ﷺ said that whoever wears a garment of fame in this world, Allah will dress him in a garment like it on the Day of Resurrection, which the scholars explain as a garment of disgrace. And he praised the one who leaves fine clothing out of humility while able to afford it. The Hanafi texts sum this up: beautiful clothes for Eid, Jumuah and gatherings are permitted, while dressing to show off is disliked.
- Can you afford it? Buying on debt, or skipping zakat and family duties, to pay for a label is waste.
- Why are you buying it? Quality and looking presentable are good reasons. Wanting people to notice the brand is the danger.
- What is on it? Crosses, pictures of living things or bad slogans are a problem whatever the brand; see dressing like non-Muslims and clothes with pictures.
- Men: no gold and no pure silk, however expensive; see gold.
For the general rules of dressing, see the Sunnah way of getting dressed.

Quran, Surah Al-A'raaf 7:32
Say, "Who has forbidden the adornment of Allah which He has produced for His servants and the good [lawful] things of provision?" Say, "They are for those who believe during the worldly life [but] exclusively for them on the Day of Resurrection." Thus do We detail the verses for a people who know.
Adornment and good things are lawful unless Allah has forbidden them.
Quran, Surah Al-A'raaf 7:31

O children of Adam, take your adornment at every masjid, and eat and drink, but be not excessive. Indeed, He likes not those who commit excess.
Believers are told to dress well for the mosque and prayer, without excess.
