Short answer
The word jinn does not appear in English Bibles, and Christianity does not teach a separate race of jinn. The Bible speaks of angels and of demons or unclean spirits. In Islam, jinn are a third creation made from smokeless fire, with free will, some believing and some not, and Satan (Iblis) was one of them, not a fallen angel.
Belief that jinn exist is part of Muslim belief, since the Quran states it clearly, and the scholars of every school agree on it. Jinn are accountable for their deeds like humans. Angels, by contrast, never disobey Allah.
The four schools agree on this.
Explanation
In Islam, Allah created three kinds of beings with minds: angels from light, jinn from fire, and humans from clay. Jinn were created before humans. They eat, marry, have children and die. Like us they choose to obey or disobey, and the Quran has a whole surah, al-Jinn, about a group of them who heard the Quran and believed.
The Bible speaks of angels, of Satan, and of demons, evil spirits and unclean spirits. Christian teaching generally explains Satan and the demons as angels who rebelled and fell. Islam sees this differently. The Quran says angels do not disobey Allah, and that Iblis, who refused to bow to Adam, was of the jinn. The devils (shayatin) are the rebellious jinn who follow him.
Some Muslim writers suggest that what the Bible calls demons or unclean spirits overlaps with the evil jinn and devils of Islam, since both are unseen, deceive people and can harm them. The common Arabic Bible (the Van Dyck translation) does use the word jann in a few verses, such as Leviticus 19:31, for the spirits consulted by mediums, but that is a translator's word choice, not the Quran's idea of jinn. The comparison is made by readers, not a teaching of either scripture, so it should be held lightly.
For a Muslim the practical lesson is calm, not fear. The jinn are creatures under Allah's control. Muslims protect themselves with the morning and evening remembrances, Ayat al-Kursi and the last two surahs of the Quran, not with charms. Read more in jinn in Islam and angels in Islam.
The evidence
Quran, Surah Ar-Rahmaan 55:15
And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.
Jinn are a separate creation made from fire.
Quran, Surah Al-Kahf 18:50
And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was of the jinn and departed from the command of his Lord. Then will you take him and his descendants as allies other than Me while they are enemies to you? Wretched it is for the wrongdoers as an exchange.
Iblis, Satan, was a jinn and not an angel.
Quran, Surah At-Tahrim 66:6
O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded.
Angels do not disobey, which is why Islam does not teach fallen angels.
Sahih Muslim 2996
Sahih...
"The angels were created from light, the jinn were created from a smokeless flame of fire, and Adam was created from what has been described to you."
The three created beings and what each was made from.
